UNIQLO and LEMAIRE

UNIQLO held a trunk show of their collaboration with Christophe Lemaire (former creative director of Lacoste and Hermes) for  fall / winter 2015 collection that consists of 55 styles (31 for women and 25 for men) featuring many knits wear and outerwear, this collection combines elegance and comfort, this collection was launched  exclusively only available at Uniqlo Grand Indonesia, personally i think these   UNIQLO and LEMAIRE  are essential items that can be personalized mix and match with my personal look and my personal favorite is a oversize coat and men's  jacket obviously must have item.

PIMFW 2015: Indonesian Men's Fashion Mecca

Plaza Indonesia men’s fashion week 2015 that took place from September 15-19 September become a proof that the menswear market cannot be underestimated, a local designer who hold the collection  steal the spotlight on this annual event together  with some international brands  appearing on the first day Fred perry with their signature polo shirt, the new most anticipated Rococo the men's store multi-brand stores such as Michael Bastian, J Mendel, John Varvatos and BELSTAFF, while on the finals runway Ben Sherman still presents  "button up" campaign .In the second day Adamist "The Convicts" Fall 2015 collection has Become the hottest contemporary Menswear brand emerging from Indonesia and Antony Morato, who also held an after party in collaboration with the magazine Esquire. Special guest star the first day of this fashion week  Kaylan Morgan, top model from New York who has appeared as the face of Jean Paul Gaultier La Beau Male commercial, as the invitation from DA MAN magazine.

Third day Alleira batik and DHANTS by Dhanny showcase their collections but considerable attention is ISIS, a brand that actively hold their collection on fashion week Plaza Indonesia both for the collection of women and men is collaborating with Samsonite and newrock store, featuring a collection of rock and roll and as usual featured celebrity on their runway, indy Barens who appeared androgyny become  the attention of the night and the collection from ERMENEGILDO ZEGNA as one of the strongest collection in the runway and  the brand that every men’s should have as they power suit, in the final day (X) SML, Danjyo Hiyoji and THE GOODS DEPT,local  brand  which gives a new color in Menswear Indonesia, (X) SML WINTER COLLECTION “somber” with a strong silhouette and darker color palette, I personally love their deep Crotch pants and Danjyo Hiyoji FALL / WINTER 2015 "VENA" inspired by bionic mood, human alongside with machine, the juxtaposition of  These two silhouette create a very interesting and fresh Menswear item and I love every piece of it. On the final night THEGOODS DEPT hosting after party held in the location of restaurants and stores that will be their latest place, highly anticipated return of the coolest local store to Plaza Indonesia.

Plaza Indonesia Men's Fashion Week 2015

A few months ago Menswears fashion week starting from London, Milan to Paris featuring many designers like Vivien westwood, Brioni, Versace  Moschino Spring Summer 2016 collection among tons of other designer and of course London is known for its experimental design and playful using  colors and prints , while Paris and Milan put more emphasis on high design wear ability and New York just launch their first ever New York Men's Fashion week showcasing many talented young designer from America.

How about Menswear in Indonesia? Up until now only the Plaza Indonesia one of the routine organizer of annual Men's Fashion Week featuring a collection of international designer and local designer and some menswear collection also featured among the dominance of women's clothing in a fashion week show like Jakarta Fashion Week, Indonesia Fashion Week or Kelapa Gading Jakarta Food and Fashion Festival and these event is one of most important agenda for me to attend i love that men in town having these broad selection of fashion brand to put it on.

Ermenegildo Zegna SS2015 :Private Preview (Plaza Indonesia Store)

Stefano Pilati continue to explore the contradictions between masculine and romanticism in his latest collection, the private priview bring four look that represent the essential elegance, i love how the neck tie styling on the look remind us of pilati's signature.
Here in Indonesia Ermenegildo Zegna already got 3  store :Plaza Indonesia (where these preview located and i love the warm hospitality of their principal,branch manager and public relation),Plasa Senayan and Pacific Place (the latest and the most hip one in the city), they offer more than suit that every gentlement should have inside and these brand is always refreshing the intepretation of sartorial menswear.

Sarah Jessica Parker once design for these Brand and now with more contemporary line the collection is suit 21st century modern urban women, Halston first store open in Plaza Indonesia and one of the collection that i love on the second day of PIFW2015.

These year fashion week also mark 25th  years anniversary of Plaza Indonesia as the ultimate Premium Shopping destination in town and these time around will featured more talented local designer on the runway beside some international Fashion Brand. PIFW 2015 is one of the most anticipated event in the year for me because i remember as these event also inspired me to be a fashion blogger and writer like today, Feel like part of my fashion AHA moment where i can enjoy the show and interact with the crowd and most important thing is held in one of my most visited place in the city.

Known for her minimal yet sexy line  and become hot red carpet item in Hollywood, Peggy will showcase her latest collection in these year Indonesia Fashion week,one of my most anticipated show to watch, personally i am a big fan of her collection and keep hoping that one day she approach a design for menswear and i am definitely will wear it.

It's been a while since i attend the first Indonesia Fashion Week and these year i 'm probably will witness these annual fashion event, there would be around 32 show during four days 26th of february till 1st of march, i certainly expect to see young promising talent and authentic design.
