These upcoming Jakarta Fashion Week 2012 will be held in Plaza Senayan for the very first time and the organizer acknowledge (through their website visitor)that Muslim wear grab tons of Indonesian attention and potentially will became Fashion Mecca for Muslim wear in the world.
I attend 2nd day JFW,thanks to Dalih from media room for gaving me some invitation, first show at Grazia Glam&Glitz,even its all about celebrity turn tobe designer Indah Kalalo & Febiola is inspired by the sensual mood of Versace then Ussy shoe design is tragic that showing how Kimmy can manage keep walking with the broken pink heel (i tweet her for the great job)then i go in the rush to Lee Cooper show that i was invited as the selected blogger,in between show there were show that dedicated to Robby Tumewu by some designer that represent with different colour,the last show that i attend is Danar hadi,they latest collection intepreted a sport and classy collection (Oscar lawalatta design for Danar Hadi is devine)
These year jakarta fashion week 2012 is a bit smaller than a year before but they try to adjust with international runway standard and invite more local and international media to cover the event (unfortunately some blogger wasn't on the list these year), the opening featured the local maestro Biyan and two other asian designer Ashley isham and Bernard Chandran)
